Alex Olson is an American actor, writer, and producer best known for his roles in the Netflix series Stranger Things and The Flash. He was born in Los Angeles, California on August 2, 1990.

Olson began his career in the entertainment industry when he was cast as a series regular in the ABC Family show Huge during its first season. He then went on to appear in guest roles on a number of television shows, including The Mentalist and 2 Broke Girls.

In 2015, Olson was cast in the role of Sam on the Netflix series Stranger Things. His performance as Sam was praised by critics and he was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

In 2018, Olson was cast in the role of Harry Wells in the CW series The Flash. His performance as Harry Wells earned him a Teen Choice Award nomination for Choice TV: Scene Stealer.
