Aldo Romano is an Italian actor, director and screenwriter, best known for his roles in films like “The Great Beauty”, “Rome” and “The Godfather Part III”.

Born in Rome, Italy in 1962, Aldo Romano was raised in a family of actors. His father, Franco Romano, was a well-known actor and his mother, Gloria Romano, was a leading actress in the Italian theater. From an early age, Aldo was exposed to the world of acting and fell in love with it.

He began his professional career in 1978, appearing in a few small roles in television commercials and films. In the early 1980s, Aldo began to make a name for himself with roles in popular Italian films such as “The Great Beauty” (1984), “Rome” (1985) and “The Godfather Part III” (1990).

In the mid-1990s, Aldo turned his attention to directing, writing and producing. He wrote and directed the award-winning film, “The Perfect Stranger” (1997), which was nominated for a Golden Globe Award.
