BIO

Alberto Naranjo is an actor, writer, and director from Venezuela. He is known for his work in both film and television, having been a part of several critically acclaimed films and series. He has been nominated for several awards, including the Golden Globe for Best Actor for his role in the film “La Vida Loca” (2013).

Naranjo was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1982. He studied acting at the Conservatorio Nacional de Artes Escénicas, where he graduated in 2002. He subsequently moved to Spain, where he continued to study acting at the Instituto del Teatro de Barcelona.

Naranjo made his film debut in 2007 with the film “La Corte”, which was well-received by critics. He then went on to star in the films “El Aro” (2010) and “La Vida Loca” (2013), for which he received a Golden Globe nomination. He has also starred in several television series, including “Los Hombres de Paco” (2009-2010), “Velvet” (2014-2015) and “La Embajada” (2016).

Naranjo has also written and directed several short films, including “El Desahucio” (2012) and “La Caja Negra” (2017). He has also written and directed two feature-length films, “Mi Hermano” (2016) and “Nocturno” (2018). Naranjo has won several awards for his writing and directing, including the Best Screenplay Award at the San Sebastian Film Festival for “Mi Hermano”.

Naranjo is also an active humanitarian, having volunteered for various charities in Venezuela and Spain. He is a supporter of the LGBT community, and was appointed as an ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme in 2017.

In addition to his work as an actor, writer, and director, Naranjo is a passionate musician, playing the guitar and piano. He is also an avid traveler who loves to explore new cultures and countries.
