Albert Yu-Min Lin is a Taiwanese-American actor and musician best known for his roles in the films Snow Falling on Cedars and High School Musical 3.

Lin was born in Taiwan in 1968 and moved to the United States at the age of five. He graduated from UCLA in 1994 with degrees in East Asian Studies and Political Science.

Lin began his acting career in 1997, appearing in small roles in television and films, including a recurring role in the hit television show Angel. He was cast in the 1999 drama Snow Falling on Cedars, alongside Ethan Hawke and Max von Sydow, which earned him praise from critics and audiences alike.

Lin also starred in the 2008 musical High School Musical 3: Senior Year, playing the role of a Chinese exchange student. The film was a box office success and earned him further recognition.
