Alan Pelikan is an American actor and theatre director. He is best known for his roles in various films and television series, such as The Sopranos, Law & Order, and Orange Is the New Black.
Pelikan was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1965. He attended Cleveland High School, where he played football and was the captain of the basketball team. After graduating from high school, Pelikan attended Ohio State University, where he studied theatre and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Pelikan began his acting career in the late 1980s with a role in the film Fatal Attraction. He then went on to appear in various television series throughout the 1990s and 2000s, including recurring roles on The Sopranos, Law & Order, and Orange Is the New Black.
