Alan Mitchell (born October 17, 1964) is an American actor best known for his roles in such films as The Rock, Con Air, and The Green Mile.

Born in Los Angeles, California, Mitchell grew up in a family of actors and entertainers. His father was a television director and his mother a professional dancer. Mitchell himself attended the University of Southern California, where he studied theater and fine arts.

Upon graduation, Mitchell began making guest appearances on television shows such as The Cosby Show, Growing Pains, Family Ties, and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. It was around this time that Mitchell started to get his first major movie roles. He starred in the action film The Rock alongside Sean Connery and Nicolas Cage, and the drama Con Air alongside John Cusack and Nicolas Cage.
