Al Cliver (born Alberto Tafuri on May 2, 1941) is an Italian actor and film director. He is best known for his roles in horror films such as Zombie (1979), The Beyond (1981), and Anthropophagous: The Beast (1980).

Cliver was born in Naples, Italy and began his acting career in the early 1960s. He started out appearing in a variety of small roles on television and in films, including an uncredited part in A Fistful of Dollars (1964). His first major role came in 1969 when he appeared in the Italian giallo film Your Vice Is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key, directed by Sergio Martino.

Cliver's career in horror films began with the cult classic Zombie (1979). In this film, he played a scientist who is researching the effects of a mysterious serum on a group of corpses. His performance was praised by critics and the film went on to become a cult classic.

Cliver's next major horror role came in 1981 when he starred in Lucio Fulci's The Beyond. In this film, he plays a recluse who discovers an ancient portal to hell that unleashes a horde of monsters.
