Ahmed Al Rokh is a Saudi Arabian actor and director who has experienced success both in the Middle East and internationally. He is best known for his roles in films such as Wadjda, Barakah Meets Barakah, Theeb, and The Perfect Candidate.

Al Rokh was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 1988. He began his acting career in his teens, appearing in local television shows and stage plays. He also began directing short films and documentaries while still in school.

Al Rokh rose to prominence with his breakout role in the 2013 movie Wadjda, which he co-starred in alongside Riyaad Assaf. His performance earned him a Best Supporting Actor award at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival. The film was also the first feature-length movie to be shot entirely in Saudi Arabia.

Al Rokh's subsequent roles have made him a prominent figure in the Middle Eastern film industry. He has worked with renowned film directors such as Susanne Bier, Tamer El Said, and Ali F. Mostafa. He was also cast in the 2016 film Theeb, which was nominated for an Academy Award.

In 2018, Al Rokh directed his first full-length feature film, The Perfect Candidate. The film was well-received, earning him Best Director and Best Screenplay awards at the Saudi Film Festival, as well as a Special Jury Prize at the Tokyo International Film Festival.

Al Rokh has also been involved in philanthropic work, founding a charity which supports the development of young filmmakers in the Middle East. He has also been an advocate for women's rights in the region, speaking out for greater gender equality.
