Acis Peters is an English actor best known for his roles in the television series "The Affair" and "The Little Drummer Girl". He has also appeared in the films "The Danish Girl", "The Imitation Game" and "The Theory of Everything".

Peters was born in London, England, and grew up in a working-class family in the suburb of Tottenham. He attended the local comprehensive school and developed an interest in acting from a young age. He joined a local youth theatre group and later went on to study drama at the University of Bristol.

Following his graduation, Peters was cast in various theatre productions, including the National Theatre's production of "The Kitchen". He also made his television debut in the BBC drama "Silent Witness", and subsequently appeared in a number of supporting roles in television and film.

In 2014, Peters was cast in the lead role of Noah Solloway in the Showtime drama series "The Affair". He received critical acclaim for his performance, and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series Drama in 2015.

Shortly thereafter, Peters starred in the BBC miniseries "The Little Drummer Girl" as Charlie, a British actress recruited by Mossad agents to help catch a Palestinian terrorist. He was praised for his performance, and the series was nominated for a BAFTA TV Award in 2019.

In 2018, Peters starred in the biographical drama film "The Danish Girl" alongside Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander. He played Henrik, a close friend of the main character Einar Wegener, who is transitioning into a woman.

Peters has also appeared in the Academy Award-winning films "The Imitation Game" and "The Theory of Everything".

Peters is currently working on several projects, including the upcoming Netflix drama series "The Eddy". He also recently wrapped filming on the period drama "The Lost Prince".
