Abbas Abdi is an Iranian actor, director, and screenwriter. He was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1968. He started his career as an actor in the late 1980s with a small role in the television series, “Kanoon-e-Mansour”. From then on, he appeared in numerous films and television series, both in leading and supporting roles. He has also directed and written several films and television series.

Abdi’s first major role was in the 1990 film, “Ghashang-e-Kharab”, where he played the lead. Since then, he has had a successful career in Iranian cinema. He has starred in films such as “Vaghti-e-Man Ashoofim”, “Larzoon-e-Shayeste”, “Hamsayeha-ye-Kolah Ghermezi”, “Shahre Man”, “Asemane Man”, and “Darbareye Eli”. He has also appeared in numerous television series such as “Abed-e-Ghorboon”, “Khandevaneh”, “Gole-e-Sorkh”, “Kamalolmolk”, and “Din-e-Mah”.

In addition to his acting career, Abdi has also directed and written several films and television series. He wrote the screenplay for the 2003 film, “Dastan-e-Mina”, and directed the 2004 film, “Raghs-e-Takht”. He also wrote and directed the 2006 film, “Takhti-e-Sarzam”.

Abdi has won numerous awards for his work. He has won the Best Actor award at the Fajr Film Festival for his role in the film “Ghashang-e-Kharab”, as well as the Best Director award at the Iranian Film Festival for his film “Takhti-e-Sarzam”. He has also been nominated for awards such as the Best Actor award at the Fajr Film Festival for his role in the film “Darbareye Eli”.
