Aaron Smith is an American actor, singer, songwriter, producer, and director. Born on December 8, 1977 in Los Angeles, California, he is best known for his roles in the television series, The O.C., and the movie, The Notebook.

Smith began his career as a child actor, appearing in commercials and print ads for companies like Burger King and McDonald’s. He also had small parts in television shows like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and ER. In 1999, he was cast in the role of Trey Atwood on the teen drama The O.C., which was a massive success and launched Smith into stardom.

In 2004, Smith starred in the romantic drama, The Notebook, opposite Rachel McAdams. The role earned him critical acclaim and catapulted him to a new level of fame. He went on to appear in several other films, including The A-Team, The Lucky One, and The Longest Ride.
