About One World Romania
One World Romania (OWR) is an international documentary and human rights film festival based in Bucharest. Founded in 2008 as a smaller-scale counterpart to the One World festival in Prague, it has grown into a major civic and cultural platform in Romania. Programming is organized around an annual overarching theme, with post-screening debates, educational activities and community outreach forming a core part of its identity.
