Founded in 1959 in Florence, Festival dei Popoli is Italy's most important international documentary film festival and one of the oldest in Europe. Organized by the Istituto Italiano per il Film di Documentazione Sociale ETS, it showcases the best of contemporary documentary cinema with a focus on social and cultural themes through international and Italian competitions.
