DOX BOX e.V. is a nonprofit institution for support and training in documentary filmmaking, with programs focused on diversity, skills transfer and alternative visual perspectives from the Arab-African region. Originally founded as a documentary film festival in Damascus, Syria in 2008, the organization re-established itself in Berlin as DOX BOX e.V. in 2014 after the Syrian war.
