Docaviv, officially the Tel Aviv International Documentary Film Festival, is Israel's only film festival dedicated exclusively to documentary cinema. Founded in 1998, it is also the largest film festival in Tel Aviv, drawing around 40,000 attendees. The festival showcases Israeli and international nonfiction work through competitive sections and curated programs. It also operates a regional offshoot, Docaviv Galilee, in Ma'alot-Tarshiha.
