About Cinéma du Réel
Cinéma du Réel is an international documentary film festival founded in 1978 and organized by the Bibliothèque publique d'information at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Each spring the festival presents international and French competitions as well as thematic retrospectives and special programs. Its professional platform ParisDOC brings together industry events including Works-in-Progress sessions. The festival awards several prizes including the Grand Prix and the International Award.
