About Aspen Filmfest

Aspen Filmfest is the flagship fall event of Aspen Film, a nonprofit organization based in Aspen, Colorado. Founded in 1979, Filmfest presents a carefully curated selection of the year's best independent narrative features and documentaries, often featuring awards-season contenders. Aspen Film also produces the Oscar-qualifying Aspen Shortsfest and the Academy Screenings winter program.
