Set against the backdrop of societal and familial pressures in Turkey, this documentary explores the lives of gay men forced into heterosexual marriages to conceal their true identities. At the heart of the story is Mustafa and his lover of 15 years, Mehmet, a man he describes as a “homophobic homosexual.”

Their intense yet turbulent relationship, marked by love, guilt, and violence, unveils the painful realities of hidden identities and the complexities of love in the face of repression. As Mustafa seeks closure, Mehmet’s refusal to let go pulls them both into a battle between the past and the desire for freedom.
