Weekend Sailor, a race around the world on a sailboat

In this inspirational film, the incredible sailing trip around the world by mexican entrepreneur Ramón Carlín and his family in 1973 pass in front of our eyes not only as one the most important feat in the history of sailing but as a truly memorable family experience.

One can even feel the mist of the ocean waves on the face when seeing the grainy images of the beautiful 16mm color footage that director Bernardo Arsuaga uses to illustrates Carlin’s journey.

Testimonies of Carlin himself and his fellow sailors, including his own sons, are the main narrative resource to tell the details of this unforgettable journey.
