The Film of Kyiv. Episode One - Locals repurpose Kyiv's unfinished bridge

This observational documentary centered on the Podilsky Bridge, one of the world's largest unfinished bridge projects, located in the heart of Kyiv. Construction began nearly 25 years ago but stalled in the late 2000s due to corruption and lack of investment.

Over the years, locals have repurposed the incomplete structure for sports, leisure, and daring parkour stunts, creating a unique urban landscape. Meanwhile, Kyiv’s mayor, Vitaliy Klitschko, collaborates with German politicians to find a solution to complete this long-awaited project, symbolizing hope and perseverance amidst the city's challenges.
