Much Ado About Dying - A joyful farewell in the company of chaos
Filmmaker Simon sets out to care for his eccentric uncle David, a flamboyant gay actor whose life is a mixture of Shakespeare, clutter, and boundless generosity.
Between greeting visitors in the nude and lending his credit card to neighbors, David stages one final performance, his farewell to the world. But instead of despair, what emerges is a meditation on freedom, legacy, and what it means to truly live on your own terms. Intimate and unexpectedly hilarious, the film captures the beauty of chosen family and queer aging with rare tenderness.
