All roads lead to more - A road trip of healing, hope, and memories
Syrian filmmaker Afraa Batous, grappling with the trauma of a lost home, sets out to document a journey that speaks to the resilience of her and her friends, Rahaf, Sara, and Rawa.
After losing their homes in Syria eight years ago, they embark on their first-ever road trip through Europe, revisiting the places that marked their migration. Through laughter, love, and moments of lightheartedness, the women reflect on their pasts, confront the pain of displacement, and share their unique stories of survival. This documentary captures the complex intersection of grief, hope, and the enduring human spirit as they explore Europe not just as refugees but as individuals forging new paths.
