An experimental observation of an Iranian burial ceremony.

A Place To Rest, The time after death

A quote once written by author Haruki Muracami is the only literay resource that introduces us to this short film about a burial ceremony in Iran.

Director Mohammad Reza Akbari uses the images in slow motion to take us to another dimension where a slower notion of time sets a new perspective on the ritual after death and cinema as a document of life.
