A Pandemic: Away from the Motherland
There are many stories about the current pandemic, and each has a different point of view. In the case of this independently-made documentary, the focus is on a group of Indian doctors in the United States who deal with COVID-19 on a daily basis in the country with the highest number of COVID-related infections and deaths in the world.
Back in their motherland, their families try to live with the fact that these health heroes are under permanent threat. But after the United States, India has been the country most affected by the virus, so an obvious tension arises among our protagonists: When will they be able to see their relatives again?
