A Dog’s life: A Dogamentary
The Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Gayle Kirschenbaum makes a filmed diary of her intimate cohabitation with Chelsea, the small and friendly Shih Tzu who accompanies her in a New York City apartment.
Being Chelsea a certified therapy dog, when 9/11 occurs both roommates become volunteers in order to brighten the lives of hundreds of people who suffer the consequences of the attack.
This unique documentary allows us to literally look from the canine point of view the special, and often healing, relationship that human beings usually have with their so-called "best friends".
