Jeong-hyun Mun is a South Korean film director and screenwriter. He is best known for his critically acclaimed films, such as "Ode to My Father" (2014), "A Taxi Driver" (2017), and "The Battle of Jangsari" (2019).

Mun was born in Seoul, South Korea, in 1976. He graduated from the Chung-Ang University in Seoul with a degree in fine arts. After graduation, he began his career in the film industry as an assistant director. He worked on several films, including the popular South Korean films, "I Saw the Devil" (2010) and "The Housemaid" (2010).

Mun made his directorial debut in 2014 with the film, "Ode to My Father". The film was a critical and commercial success and was even nominated for the Grand Bell Award for Best Film.
