BIO

Hernan Khourian is an award-winning director, producer and screenwriter from Argentina. He has directed and produced feature films, documentaries, television series and short films. He is also an experienced educator, having taught and lectured at universities across the world.

Khourian was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1985. He studied directing at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, graduating with a degree in Film Direction in 2008. He then went on to pursue a degree in Cinema Studies from the University of Buenos Aires. After graduating, he was hired by the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) in Argentina, where he worked as a programmer and assistant director.

Khourian has directed and produced several feature films, including the critically acclaimed “The Night of the Prophet” (2013), which won the Best Feature Film award at the Buenos Aires International Film Festival. His other feature films include “The Dead Don’t Speak” (2015) and “The Invisible” (2017). He has also directed and produced several documentaries, including “The Golden Age of Argentine Cinema” (2007) and “The Forgotten Ones” (2008).

Khourian has directed and produced several television series, including “The Outsiders” (2009) and “The Silence of Time” (2013). He has also directed several short films, including “The Last Witness” (2012) and “The Last Survivor” (2013).

Khourian has lectured and taught at universities and institutions around the world, including the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, the University of Texas at Austin and the University of California, Los Angeles. He has also served as a jury member for numerous film festivals, including the Buenos Aires International Film Festival and the San Francisco International Film Festival.

Khourian’s work has been praised by critics for its daring and innovative storytelling. He continues to work on feature films, documentaries, television series and short films, and has become one of the leading filmmakers in Argentina.

Known for
