The Young Entrepreneur Transforming Lives in Rural Bangladesh
Oggro Dairy is the first social enterprise dedicated to agriculture in Bangladesh. Founded in 2007 by Farzeen Ferdous Alam, the enterprise works with across the country, producing a variety of agricultural products such as milk, potato, corn, and orchids.
Social enterprises, such as Oggro Dairy, are expected to lower unemployment, especially among marginalized youth, and bring social benefits, according to the United Nations World Youth Report
